ABOUT THE FITCHBURG FARMERS' MARKET

The Fitchburg Farmers Market is organized to bring together the local flavor and culture of Fitchburg through local agriculture, artists, craftsmanship and community spirit. Shop for fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, eggs and cheese, artisan breads, locally made soaps and lotions, & handmade goods.

In early 2016, the FFM began a partnership with Growing Places (GP), a nonprofit organization located in Leominster which has been working to improve access to fresh healthy foods for residents in the  North Central MA area for 15 years.

Goals of the FFM:

  • To provide access to fresh, healthy, locally grown foods for residents of Fitchburg and the surrounding communities

  • To create a space where members of the community can come together

  • To provide a a direct-to-consumer venue for local farmers and other local craftspeople to sell their produce/products

  PLEASE NOTE:

::Methods of Payment::

Different vendors accept different forms of payment. In an effort to make the market accessible to most people, some vendors have been approved to accept SNAP (EBT), WIC vouchers, Healthy Incentive Program (HIP), and senior vouchers from MOC. Of course, all our vendors accept cash, and some will accept major credit cards. Please note that at this time, Fitchburg Farmers Market does not accept payment on behalf of any specific vendor.

You must pay a vendor directly with whichever payment method they can accept.
